Product Description

The Contec CMS-60C is a portable, handheld pulse oximeter designed to measure human oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate (PR) via a photoelectric sensor placed on the finger. Adopting Photoelectric Oxyhemoglobin Inspection Technology combined with Capacity Pulse Scanning and Recording Technology, it is engineered for both continuous monitoring and quick spot-checks. The device is widely utilized in clinical environments, hospitals, community healthcare centers, oxygen bars, and sports health tracking.

Key Features

  • Function & Navigation Menu: Simple operation menu layout for user function adjustments.
  • Multi-Parameter Display: Simultaneously tracks 4 distinct readouts: SpO₂ value, Pulse Rate (PR), a pulse bar graph, and a real-time Plethysmographic pulse waveform.
  • Visual & Audible Alarms: Features an overrun prompt function with fully adjustable upper and lower limits for both SpO₂ and Pulse Rate.
  • On-Screen Indicators: Real-time battery capacity meter and a low-voltage warning to prevent unexpected system shutdowns.
  • Sound Alerts: Includes a pulse rate audio tone (pitch match) that clicks with each heartbeat.

Product Highlights

  • Data Storage & Export: Built-in memory stores up to 24 hours of continuous data which can be uploaded directly to a computer for analysis via the provided software.
  • Adjustable Interface: Equipped with a dual-direction display orientation and 3 adjustable screen brightness levels to adapt to ambient lighting conditions.
  • Light Interference Resistance: Readings deviate by less than ±1% under indoor artificial or natural light compared to a total darkroom baseline.
  • External Probe Variety: Built with an external probe connector, making it compatible with modular sensor types.

Use Cases

  • Hospital & Clinical Facilities: Ideal for post-op monitoring, emergency triage, sub-acute care units, and intensive care units.
  • Home Healthcare: Suitable for long-term daily management of individuals with chronic respiratory or cardiovascular conditions.
  • Community Medical Care: Convenient for local clinics, mobile nursing setups, and nursing homes.
  • Sports & Physical Care: Used by athletes and high-altitude adventurers to evaluate physiological baselines (recommended for use strictly before or after exercise, rather than during intense physical motion).
  • Cross-Age Patient Profiles: The main device natively functions with adult, pediatric, or neonatal sensors.
